Day 2, running! Still 9€

Some news!

Opening just a little bit the door, the initiative is having a very good welcome. Now we have 40 followers, 419 visits, many supporting comments and suggestions and questions from several people. Thank to you all!

The easiest ways to donate (PayPal, credit cards) have extremely high commissions when the amounts of money transferred are too low (2€). Google Checkout is not available in Spain yet. Kickstarter doesn't allow to collect for donations.

Something less practical but cheaper is having a bank account for you to make transfers of money.

Next issue is how to receive the money. If I do it in a personal bank account that will impact in my taxes. That's why many people are suggesting me to formalize an association or something like that. The key point is that I can guarantee transparency and make everything as fast as possible, with less bureaucracy and without costs. I am opened to any advise or help.

I have received questions and doubts about the transparency and trust people can have in this initiative. Microdonations have an emotional meaning more than monetary. In that sense, people should make the donation easily and tell their friends to do the same but the emotional barrier is high. Something has to be put in risk and therefore being transparent is important. I have much to lose if I am not transparent, if I don't manage the initiative and the funds following the values I believe in and I transmit. I would disappoint the people I love, beginning form my family, and many other people that would turn their back on me. Disappointing 45 million people means to die socially.

We might not reach the 90 million. But that would be the only reason of disappointing.

Donate! Thanks!
