Day 49, €25.957, third concert!

Good morning!

Did you know that on 26 of the initiative over 6,000 € of revenue? Did you know that last week we raised more than € 6,000? What took 26 days to raise now we have raised in one week! Is not it amazing?


On the team there are many people who had helped before to other causes, but in my case, this is the first time. I discovered two things that have fascinated me. The first is the sheer number of people (thousands) who want to help, who turn completely, and that they are happy doing it, and make others happy. It's a virtuous circle of happiness! And it is beautiful.
And the second is that a huge number of people (thousands as well) is taking that first step (like me) to solidarity with the people who is suffering, and that is priceless. People with their bit help to build castles and mountains. I'm very glad I've started this, and  I feel very happy that things are changing thanks to each and every one of you/us. Thank you!  thank you very much!

And of course, we have another very good news: another charity concert!another charity concert in Madrid!Will be on Thursday December 15 from 22:00 h to 01:00 h in Hall Caravan C / General Martinez Campos 17, underground Church. They will play severally for all 3 groups:

- Betty, Rare Flower exvocalist
- Sr. Pulga
- Mal de altura
Between group and group,  batucada Tacúmbala will encourage the show.
 

The ticket price is 10 €. 50% is for "90 million in 90 days "and 50% for the Hall Caravan. It entitles you to one drink. The price of drinks is 7 additional €, 5 € for the room, € 2 for" 90 million in 90 days. "A drink is 1 glassor 2 beers or 2 soft drinks.
You can purchase tickets at the entrance of the room.

Day 48, €25.694, We are almost there...!

Hi!

We are really excited because we are about to meet the budget needed by one of the two projects that AMREF presented, a health care project in Turkana. That is, we will have the chance of giving them real help!!

Turkana is located to the northwest of Kenya and is a zone in a state of crisis and emergency, as you can see if you click on the first map shown.

The project still needs to cover 26.645€ from its budget. Once we get this quantity (very soon), we will ask you on Facebook. To read all the details about the project click on this link.

Day 47, €24.751, "El Mundo"!

Today we have great news: "El Mundo", Madrid edition, has given us a full page with an article written by Carmelo Pérez.  Also that edition is the one most read in their online platform Orbyt. ¡We are really happy! ¡Excellent article! Thanks a lot!

This is the sort of spreading that we need in order to get through more and more people. Besides, paper is being printed more than ever this week due to the Spanish elections, so we hope that many people who didn’t know our website before can now get more information about us.  Are you one of those people? Day 46, €24.264, Great Success!

Good afternoon!

Yesterday we stayed up till really late but now we are back with all the info.

The income last night was €2.745,38,   a total of  €2.147 from the Gala. New record! Almost €3.000 in a day! If  €40 a child can be saved, yesterday you all saved 68 children.

This is really important, also we had 200 attendants at the Gala. We are deeply grateful to Cipri Quintas (@cipriquintas), ,owner of Silk&Soya, for giving his local and a drink to all the attendants; to Mago More (@magomore) and Dani de la Cámara for giving us theirs hilarious humor; and María López for her wonderful voice. We are grateful and happy because the gala was a great success Thanks a lot!

After this magic night which filled the room with dreams and good mood, we keep on going with more energy! We have reached the halfway, What would happen the next 45 days? Whatever we all want, you will see.

Thank you very much for sharing your excitement and motivation to help those most in need.

Day 45, 21.514€, Gala's day! #gala9090

Hello!

Today we will host our first Gala to celebrate that we have covered half the way :)

The Gala is going to be great! See: we are lot of people eager to help in an initiative that just 45 days ago did not exist and today a trendy restaurant and a magician will give everything for the cause. On Tuesday we had more than 120 confirmed attendants and sure we are reaching 200 right now. Do you still have no plan for tonight?

Day 44, €21.061, Great team at Barcelona!

We are nearly halfway through our initiative! On Monday we asked on Facebook: what are we doing with our objectives? And the answer from an overwhelming majority of people, plus a comment on our blog said: Keep the original objectives! Sure we will! We're going for it!

Are you aware of what you have achieved in 44 days? We have gone from 4€ to 21.000€. Someone may think: then we will end up with 42.000€ (Warning!! Error!!). Networks grow exponentially! Another thing that may happen is that we add 4 zeros to the current figure and divide the result by 2: 105.000.000€! See how we can achieve it? The experience from the previous 44 days proves it. We still have plenty of time. We need you all!

What do you need to help? Willingness! Nothing else. Everything else would come along. In Barcelona there is a really enthusiastic working group who is doing incredible things! It's a long story, but the most important thing is that: They have organised another benefit concert!

¡The way in which people is getting involved for the humanitarian emergency in Africa is impressive! Now it's exciting, imagine how exciting it will be when they know!

Day 43

€90 millions… here we go! But to achieve so, our magic number needs to be changed: instead of each person managing to get 3 new people involved in the campaign each week (i.e. they donate money and they get other 3 people involved), what’s needed from now on is the recruitment of 4 people! C’mon! Can you remember what made us set this project up? ‘I heard about kids waiting in the entrance to camps being devoured alive by hyenas’. All of this can be prevented! 

Spreading the word through social media is not enough to reach everyone: let’s plaster the streets with posters (providing that it’s not illegal, of course!)!: the lift in your homebuilding, your car’s windows, a note board in your office or at your university, public spaces aimed at such purpose etc. Switch your printer on!

Apart from Thursday’s Gala, to be able to collect those €65.000 not only do we need an important mass medium to push us a bit, but also big firms to make employees know about us. Can you help us?
